Spiced Peach Jam

Peach Jam

Gluten-free Spiced Peach Jam with cinnamon & cloves! Ready in 55 minutes – perfect for gifting, toast, or glazes. Makes 3 pints (stores 18 months). No special canning needed!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups peaches, chopped/smashed
  • 1 TBSP lemon juice
  • 3 TBSP Low Sugar Pectin, rounded tablespoons
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 3 cups sugar

Instructions

  1. Peel, pit, and chop peaches into small pieces, aiming for a chunky texture rather than a puree.
  2. In a large pot over medium heat, combine peaches, lemon juice, pectin, cinnamon, allspice, and cloves. Stir well.
  3. Increase heat to medium-high and bring the mixture to a hard boil, stirring frequently. This will take about 20 minutes.
  4. Add sugar all at once, stirring continuously. Return to a full rolling boil and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. While jam cooks, wash jars in very hot water and allow them to warm. Dry on a clean towel.
  6. Ladle hot jam into warm jars, leaving minimal headspace. Wipe rims clean and secure lids and rings.
  7. Immediately invert jars and let sit upside down for 24 hours to seal.
  8. After 24 hours, turn jars upright and store in a cool, dark place. Refrigerate after opening.

Spiced Peach Jam Easy & Flavorful

Notes

  • Recipe yields 3 pint jars of jam.
  • For refrigerator/freezer jam, skip the inversion method and refrigerate immediately after cooling for up to 2 months or freeze for up to 6 months.
  • The inversion method seals the lid, enabling pantry storage for 12-18 months without refrigeration until opened.
  • My family loves this jam on toast, but it’s also great as a glaze for pork or swirled into yogurt!
Allergy Information: Check ingredients for allergens, especially peaches and pectin. Verify with product labels for safety.
