Transform Samyang Buldak ramen into gourmet soup in 20 minutes! Creamy mayo sauce, soft-boiled eggs, and customizable toppings. Vegan option included!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pack Samyang Buldak Ramen Noodles
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 soft-boiled egg
  • Green onions, sliced (to taste)
  • Onion/garlic crisps (to taste)
  • Chili oil (to taste)
  • Avocado, sliced (optional, for topping)
  • Unagi sauce (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. In a medium pot, bring 2 cups chicken broth to a boil. Add the Samyang Buldak Ramen Noodles and cook according to package instructions (4-5 minutes) until al dente. Drain, reserving ½ cup broth if desired, and set noodles aside.
  2. In a small pot, boil water and cook 1 egg for 6-7 minutes for a soft-boiled texture. Transfer to an ice bath, peel, and set aside.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine 1 egg yolk, 1 tablespoon mayonnaise, and the ramen flavor packet(s). Whisk until smooth and creamy.
  4. Gradually add up to ½ cup reserved broth to the sauce, stirring continuously to create a pourable consistency. Add the cooked noodles and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Transfer noodles to a serving bowl. Top with sliced green onions, onion/garlic crisps, a halved soft-boiled egg, and a drizzle of chili oil. Optionally, add avocado slices and unagi sauce.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust spice by using half the flavor packet or adding more broth for a milder flavor.
  • For a perfect soft-boiled egg, boil for 6-7 minutes and use an ice bath to stop cooking.
  • Customize toppings with mushrooms, spinach, kimchi, or proteins like shrimp or tofu.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 1 day, reheating with a splash of broth.
  • For vegan version, use vegetable broth, omit eggs, and use vegan mayonnaise
