Maple Mustard Salmon

Maple Mustard Salmon Easy & Flavorful

Maple mustard glazed salmon is delicious, sweet, and tangy. It’s coated in a 3-ingredient sauce and baked until tender. Perfect for quick, healthy dinners!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 oz. fresh, wild-caught salmon fillet or 4 (5 oz.) individual fillets
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp. fresh minced garlic, about 2 cloves
  • Fresh minced parsley, for garnish, optional
  • Kosher salt and fresh black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the salmon in a 9×13 baking dish. Pat dry with paper towels and season both sides with kosher salt and fresh black pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup pure maple syrup, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, and 1 teaspoon fresh minced garlic until smooth.
  4. Pour the maple mustard glaze over the salmon, using a spoon or brush to coat the top and sides evenly.
  5. Bake for 8-14 minutes, depending on fillet thickness, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Check for doneness around 8 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven, let rest for 1-2 minutes, and garnish with fresh minced parsley if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Wild salmon cooks faster (8-10 minutes) than farmed salmon (12-14 minutes) due to its leaner texture.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • My weeknight go-to: This glaze is so easy, it’s perfect for busy evenings!
