Korean Strawberry Milk

Korean Strawberry Milk

Authentic Korean Strawberry Milk with just 3 ingredients! Fresh strawberry puree swirled into creamy milk—ready in 30 minutes (plus chilling). Perfect for hot days or café-style treats!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries (16 oz. container)
  • 1/3 cup sugar (raw, brown, or white granulated)
  • 32 oz Hiland Dairy Whole Milk
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry 1 lb fresh strawberries. Remove stems, slice, and roughly chop into small pieces.
  2. Place a nonstick or stainless steel skillet over medium heat. Add chopped strawberries and 1/3 cup sugar, folding together.
  3. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture becomes syrupy with softened strawberry chunks, about 10-15 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat, transfer to a storage container, seal, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to chill.
  5. Scoop 2-3 tablespoons of chilled puree into each of 4 glasses. Swirl puree around the inside of the glass using the back of a spoon.
  6. Add ice cubes if desired, then pour 8 oz whole milk into each glass.
  7. Stir gently for a uniform color or leave marbled. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • If serving one glass at a time, refrigerate remaining puree for up to 1 week.
  • Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor; frozen strawberries should be thawed and drained.
  • My Seoul café favorite: This drink is perfect for a quick, refreshing treat!
